Want to contact a club/society/association that you, your family or friends have some association with – maybe a rugby/football/swimming curling etc club – that your Father, Mother, Great Uncle Douglas played for – name the club you want information/photos/ details of championships etc – Maybe your Great Aunt Morag receiving her rugby cup-winners medal for the Kelso Sevens of 1932!
Maybe it’s a social club that you want information/photo history of: just leave the name and place of the particular club – no matter how long ago the association was.

Are you trying to find information on a relative or friend that was in a particular Scottish Regiment/ Battalion/ RAF Unit/ Naval Base or Ship… however long ago? Details for the request form...
...WE'll do our best to help you find what you're looking for; but for this, we need as much and as many details as YOU can provide. Obviously, some requests will need less info. than others; a desire for a photograph of a street in Turriff would not require as much help as a request to trace Sergeant Jimmy Mac****** from The Black Watch in 1958, or wee Jeannie A*******r who lived next door to your Granny in Auchtermuchtie. And the more you help us, the more likely we will be to come up with the goods.
As an example, though, here are some ideas for helping to find someone:
Which club/society/ Regiment/ Ship etc, you are interested in. Full details of the person(s) you are trying to find information about – full name, age, if still alive, how old they were at the time they had the Scottish association, when he or she lived in the place/ was a member of the Club/ Association/ had the Forces connection; a little bit of background on them (if possible) and a little bit of background on their association with the Scottish institution (If you have it). Addresses, names of employers, names of Friends...
...and anything else you may think of.
